I am currently looking into the following list: Faramir 7 WOMT shields 4 rangers spears Cirion 1 WOMT Banner 7 WOMT shields 4 rangers spears Exactly 350 points. Thoughts? |

Some days ago I opened a simmilar post (450p Minas Thirith - experiences at a tournament) and got some useful advice, maybe you find some good informations for your own list there. In the meantime I tried two simple Minas Tirith lists of 200 Points, one with Cirion as leader and containing rangers without spears, the other with Beregond as leader together with Damrod as the only heroes in this army and giving everey ranger but one a spear. I played bot in the same Scenario (Domination) and against the same Moria army. The first MT army lost the battle, the second one did win. Cirion was not worth his points, after spending his might which did not last very long he was brought down very quickly even by a simple goblin captain. Rangers without spears are of limited use, but carrying spears and supportimg armoured WOMT they are really good. I suppose Faramir in your list is the ranger version? It's certainly a matter of Point costs, but I would prefer the armoured model. |
