It has been an age it seems since I finished a mini, my life has been full of work and also to my downfall World Of Warcraft. This mini was given to me by a friend and is the first Fenryll mini that I have painted. I have to say that when I first started it I loved it the face has so much character that every brush stroke was a pleasure and that was how it was until I came to the feet.
The complete contrast from good sculpting to very poor is astounding the feet are not very well sculpted at all and I really struggled to make them look anything like a poor sod with a club foot.
I tried several colour variations on the feet but everything I tried just looked like Devlan Mud so in the end I went for metal shod feet. I know that that would not be practical or even correct for a sea going chap but believe me anything else just didn't work.
In the end I am pleased with the finished mini not my best work I know but still good enough to sit in my display case and not look out of place.

I'll try to make the next completed mini a bit quicker in the making :)

Tim, I think you are well aware that I have never been a fan of any other miniatures than LOTR, however I can appreciate them.
But in your case, when you put so much into the paint job and create the shading and highlights, and much more...but for me, what really attracts me to your Non LOTR miniatures is the way you achieve perfection in 'Bright' colours, not normally seen or associated with the LOTR range.

The Green, Purple and Red, and even the Black & White stripes (Go Newcastle United), are stunning to behold.

Brilliant work as usual !!!

All anyone can do is try to make the very best of whatever mini they have available; you have managed to do that here, better that I would. The face is the focal point and that is (as usual) outstanding.

Hahahaha that thing is classic! Absolutely love it, and best of all it oozes character. Those cross eyes of it and the kill-count are neat little touches.

Oh the chevrons are great too! You wouldn't be able to demonstrate how to get that effect would you? I've always wondered how they did it.

The battle damage mainly. Oh oh and the OSL. The way that the light evenly spreads out from the visor looks great!

YOU BETTER!!

This figure reminds me for some reason to Queen "I Want to Break Free" clip... :P

Lovely paintjob again mate! I like the little inscriptions, such as the counts and the "snot pot" (??), the rusty look allover... Excellent mate!
