You've really perfected your gold technique. Is it the same recipe as before? It's extremely smooth.

I really like the way you've highlighted the gold areas as well, you seem to be placing your highlights the way you would for NMM?

Thanks everyone for the comments.

@Raukov: Yep its the same recipe. Just apply highlights where light would actually be hitting it and it should look right.

@Skyman: Its for an online painting competition. If I win anything I might not sell it.

Slow progress is being made on the arms. Expect update on the weekend.

I put the WiP pics up to be rated and the votes are telling me that the dread is only on par with my worst sternguard. ??? Compared to that mini the dread is world's apart. Is it low because its only WiP?

There's nothing to worry about with the ratings, you would be well advised not to go by them. Especially with an unfinished model.

Don't let your confidence get dampened by an unreliable system in which strangers have a say.

Nice scout! Really like the skin. But what happened to that dreadnought? last time I saw it it was just 2 legs, but looking very good nonetheless, i'd love to see more of him. :wink:
