Does anyone else play The Lord of the RIngs Role-playing Game from Decipher? Just want to see, it's a great game with great rules and stuff, soooo yeahm

Unfortunately not  The books aren't for sale either here as far as I know. I'd love to play a pen and paper rpg, but there isn't anyone here that plays. |

I have some of the books but so far I haven't played it yet. Our group is still busy with the good old (well old at least) MERP from ICE and the next Middle-earth RPG we play will be the new One Ring: Over the Edge of the Wild. -- Pasi |

@Imrail Actually you can still get them from MiniatureMarket.com The books are only $10 there This is a great pen-and-paper RPG, all you need is paper and dice. No miniatures, maps or anything (I did figure out a way to use miniatures and maps if I ever want to)

Hi Does anyone have any experience with this set of rules, I've been picking up some of the rulebooks and supplement from Ebay lately and wondered if there is any real playability in it. In particular The Two Tower box set with the maps and counters to play the classic encounter from the movie? Thank |

Actually I doesn't play the actual LOTR RPG when I first play it, it is offline but the game system was like RPG so I have an idea how to play it. |

Well, I've been noodling around with making a "retro-clone" of the Decipher game, only using the True20 ruleset as a basis. The original game system has certain issues, but the writing and the tone of the game was amazing. |
