Thanks Joansean. It is a good name, but my trading name will now be 'Majestic Bear Miniatures'. Birch Tree Giant will retail at £19 Thats £6 less than a GW Treebeard, £1 less than a GW stick Ent, but £5 more than a Thomarillion generic Ent. I can't afford to do it for any less at the moment. Postage&Packing to UK - £2.70 Postage&Packing to EU - £3.30 Postage&Packing to Worldwide - £4.60 I got my first case this week. I have also painted up one of the casts. |

Thanks for your interest people. Until the website is up and running there is nowhere currently online to buy these yet. However, for those who really can't wait, feel free to send me an email and i'll sort something out direct. |

A little birch tree giant just (magically) appeared on my doorstep today! I say little, but really it stands about 11 - 12 cm tall! The first thing you notice is the quality of the packaging - extremely high level of professionalism (some other companies could learn a lesson here!) If it adds a little bit extra to the cost of the product, then I am all for it! The second thing you notice is the weight of the model - a very satisfying weight indeed. This model has cojones! The next thing you notice is the quality of the sculpting - its simply awesome! I am already deeply in love with my new Ent (am I allowed to call it that?) The model assembles well (complete with colour-coded assembly instructions - nice touch!) and the joins are clean with only a minimal amount of green-stuff required! And it comes with a very nicely modelled 60mm base too! Erm, did I mention how heavy it is? Its actually heavier than my metal Balrog! I love metal models. If you can somehow manage to find £19 (plus postage), BUY ONE! NOW! UKFreddyBear has done a simply brilliant job of bringing this product to market - I wish him all the best with his new venture and can't wait to see his next release! |
