You know, I'd be all over this thing if it didn't cost £195.75. I've always thought it was an amazing piece, but I do possess the talent of Alan or Bob (Ebob) to make my own. :(

Other than the price tag, it looks nice. 8)

I purchased one when they were first offered. It is a really great kit...even if it is kinda pricey.

It is a truly brilliant model and extremely well designed from both a gaming and display point of view. The primary reason for making my own was that I couldn't afford to buy thi sone. Given the amount of effort involved in actually making my own, I'd say that the Forgeworld one is the cheaper option by far.

If you can afford it, buy it - it's exquisite.

When I started with this hobby a good 6 years ago, I already wanted to make a replica of this great piece... and every year again I said I want to make it... Now, 6 years later I can count that so far it would have cost me around 33 GBP / year to get it now... Weak excuse, I know, but whatever excuse I can come up with to buy this is good for me :D

I know I will never make it myself anyway, I have too much time to spend in painting figs... so.... I expect to receive it this week (today or tomorow actually, but it'll arrive at my parents place) and I can't wait to see it and hold it in my hands... (and to hide it from the lady of the house  )

I bought this a few years ago and was quite disappointed to be honest.

It is definitely a nice model but for £200 you would expect a very high quality kit. What I got was essentially a shell/frame that required me to 'finish'. I had to do a lot of filling in air holes in the resin and one of the main structures needed a good 5mm hacked off it to fit properly. Taking a hacksaw to a piece of resin you just paid £200 for is not for the faint-hearted!

Given the amount of work I had to put in to assemble it as it should look I would definitely not recommend it - unless they have changed their moulds / casting procedures you will still have a lot of work left!

They also didn't send me enough statues and trying to get a replacement was very frustrating - the guy had no idea what was in the kit ('just reference the part number from the instructions' - but there are no instructions!), then accused me of trying to claim extra parts dishonestly (after I had spent £200 on this plus another £250 on some of their Warhammer kits).

Mine is now assembled but still unpainted (after 4 years) - the problems I had just sapped all my enthusiasm for it....
