The Mahud rider rides a War Camel. I cannot find anywhere what that wargear means. Do you get any bonus to riding a war camel? Thank you

It should be in the "Fallen Realms" book at the start of the Harad/Umbar rules. I want to say they are S4 D4 and cause a S4 hit on impact when they charge, and otherwise are very similar to a horse.

They have the Impaler special rule. Str 4 hit as soon as they contact an enemy. Plus if you give your Mahud a War Spear, it is a lance when Mahud is mounted, and a spear if he looses his mount or falls off during combat. Page 29 in the Fallen Realms War Band book.

Right on! I think the Mahud Raiders are pretty darn good. The first time mine went into combat it killed an opponents model without entering into a Fight. He has been nervous about them ever since...

Camels are unique.

Althoughj, great beasts of Gorgoroth do something cross between this and a Mumak. Then you have monsters which all have new brutal power attacks, one of which I think is similar.

These Camels sound really good. Are they worth purchasing and using? What are there weaknesses?

low defence = dead camels.

I have 6 and a king, but have never used them since their riders got weaker.

I have all this Mahud/Far Harad army stuff for my WOTR Mahud Battlehost.
It's an expensive army to collect. But for some theme or accent can look pretty cool.

At this time I have 24 each (2 hand/1 hand weapon) of Half Trolls, and they are highly effective. I am fielding them in large numbers. My opponent is in awe of their effectiveness, defense, and having 2 wounds.

Definitely pretty...I think they're priced right points-wise, and the auto-hit on a charge is a great feature. I still like them, they're just not as devastating as they used to be (when they were under-priced and over-powered).

Less attacks, lower fight, higher courage. For more details, check out the new-last-year Fallen Realms book.

In other words, each warriors used to have as many attacks as an uruk-hai beserker, and each hero as many attack as a troll, and they had the fight values of respective uruk-hai, but their attacks and fight are lower now. Half trolls got better though.

I am using the Golden King of Harad and the Half Trolls as a combo...

Half Trolls cause Terror... opponents must pass Courage test to Charge.
Golden King can make your enemy fail courage tests w/in 12".
Giving me the opportunity to Charge w/out calling Heroic Move.

I have the new book, what was the Mahud camels F S and C? And have there points changed?

I'm not talking about the warriors by the way, I'm just looking into buying some camels as cavalry

Yes their points have changed. If you have the new book, why do you need the old stats? If you want them, maybe you can find an old Harad sourcebook on ebay.
