:-D Sorry, I couldn't help but laugh when I was reading the list of all these hulkish, villainous brutes and then suddenly out of nowhere... Paladin Took! I could just imagine this guy playing some sort of game set in a parallel-universe Middle-Earth, where old Took decided he was going to go to Mordor alone and destroy the One Ring, and had to battle all this stuff... he won of course! :-D

Mucho envious. Prices of those minis are beyond ridiculous. However I can understand why, every sculpt is tremendous particularly Gimli. It is hard to understand why GW discontinued such a great collection

After months of patiently waiting and refusing to pay the ridiculous £100+ I finally came across a Scouring of the Shire set being sold on buy it now for 25 euro from Italy which converted was £17. I immediately purchased the only issue was there were two mounted samgamgees and no frodo.

I cant remember all the details now, but I believe I got the following for around $80 USD:

Gildor and the Guardians of the Shire BNIB
Scouring of the Shire BNIB
The White council OLD AWESOME VERSION lol BNIB
The Balrog
Old Friends meet again(Frodo and Gandalf)
Grim Wormtongue

I cant remember the rest but a few other non interesting blister but still metal and new.

I think the reason is obvious why I scored such a deal but to say the least I bought this for selling/trade bait.

I sold Guardians of the Shire for $92 alone.

So yeah then the other stuff made a little more. I still havet the white council although I wish I would have sold them as I no longer want them. Still have Guardians of the Shire though.

Well I just won this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lord-of-the-r ... true&rt=nc

Thought it was a great purchase where I finally got the best of white dwarfs i was missing and could sell half the books for lots of profit at $5 each.

Only to have the seller place feedback right away (Positive but said I hadn't paid) and relist the item for a higher price. Bloody makes my blood boil. I reported him and apparently he has done it before so they are looking at suspending his account.

I just bought a lot for $18 USD the other day. I had no clue the auction would be so great. I knew it would be good though....

Mumak Mahud new missing horn arm
Durburz partially painted
Witch King broken mace partially painted
Moria Goblin Shaman partially painted
Pippin of Gondor
Moria Goblin drummers no drum
Balin primed Durins folk
2 uruk x bows minue x bow arm
6 new metal moria goblin bowmen
7 khazad guard 1 painted one broken axe rest new

Thats already a deal. THEN, he listed over 100+ plastic pieces. I thought it would be terribly painted or bits.

This was new or primed:
33 Mordor Orcs
34 Moria Goblins
61 Haradrim Warriors

and then about 100 more painted/bits broken figures......

Thats easily a low range value of $150 worth of stuff on ebay...I got it for 18 with shipping.....score.
