As some will know, I have just started SBG. This thread will detail my collection and it's advances, and the questions I have. They will be plentiful, I assure you, so I assume it would do well for me to put this thread in the question forum. I will update it from this post.

Let's get started!

Saturday 5th February 2011
Today I aimed at starting my collection. I bought some Warriors of the Last Alliance for the 'Men of Gondor', The One Rulebook, A group of Easterlings, Khamul the Easterling and Easterling Kataphrakts. I've got building them, and have painted three 'Men of Gondor' already.

I plan to collect both Good and Evil at the same time. I might try and get some pics up soon!

Looks like an interesting project. I look forward to see some more updates (and pictures!) The 'Last Aliiance' was one of my first boxes after the Mines, great starter set. People normally collect one side or army, but no worries I also collect both. Just checking you've read the Intro for new people so you know how to upload pictures?

I collect both. I like the variety , so that I don't get bored with the painting/modelling and also so that I have a spare army for anyone who wants to give it a shot.

I do know how to upload images, thanks. Im not sure if there are any rules about it on here though, so I may check it. Thanks. I'll keep at it, guys! Seven Men done, so I started Khamul for fun. I want my Evil army to look different to the normal Easterlings, so I'm using Regal Blue and Enchanted Blue on him instead. :)

Saw that easterling colour scheme in WD a while back, looked really nice.

I hope you do think so, as I'll be using it at the upcoming SBG Tournament held at my gaming club and there are plenty of prizes for painting, including ones for best suited colours etc.

So, seeing I have decided to finish Evil before buying more, but I've nearly finished most anyway, any ideas what to get next? I've got some Morgul Knights from WOTR, but I'm not sure if you can use them in SBG.

The blue on the easterlings is a nice break from the usual colours. With morgul knights you can use them in both systems. With Lotr mini's you can use them in both wotr and sbg.

Oh, ok. O thought one of my friends said there's a model or two you can't use in SBG from WOTR, but I guess not.
