Hey everyone I have been around Lotr sbg since it first came out but rarely played it ( not including fellowship scenarios) and I wondered what sourcebook I should get? Also should I get LOME? I ask this because I've heard it's fairly inaccurate and I wanted to know if it's worth it. I have been building Rohan and Isengard armies to let you.

Cheers fellas, AD

If you're collecting Rohan and Isengard armies, you should probably get the Two Towers sourcebook (if you don't already have it).

Personally, I really like LoME. Some of it's inaccurate, but not too much. The best thing about it though is all the scenarios it provides.

Ok does the two towers contain the army lists for both factions? Because they are what I'm mainly interested in.

No, the Two Towers (nor any other sourcebook) has no army lists. The Legions of Middle Earth, as well as having every army list, is the only way to get the Rohan and Isengard lists.

You're welcome.

I did, however, make a mistake: I said that the Two Towers, along with all of the sourcebooks, have no army lists. I meant to say that the Two Towers along with the two other journeybooks (the Fellowship of the Ring and the Return of the King) has no army lists.

There are a couple of Rohan profiles in the Shadow in the East sourcebook as well, the only one I can remember ATM is Eorl the Young.

If you're wanting to fool around with different builds you can use lonelyknights 'LOME armybuilder' excel file. It also has some scenario's in it. http://www.lonelyknight.0fees.net/

Yes Erol the Young is the only Rohan profile in that book.
