Dwarf Ranger Kinbands show that each company has hand weapons, thrown weapons, and armour. The entire formation may take bows or two-handed weapons for +5 points per company.

Question is: If they take two-handed weapons or the bows, do they keep the thrown weapons?

But, the discussion is concerning LotR, and we are running WotR.
The verdict there is yes, keep it all. Which is what I thought
in the beginning.

Yeah, if it doesn't say to replace them then they get to keep them. Can sometimes be handy having both bows and thrown weapons as it gives you a choice between strength and volume
