Why are there boxes with say 24 warriors that are older for the same price for the newer ones with only 12 warriors? is there any difference besides price rip off for 12? |

The boxof 12 is the latest price increase by GW, the models are the same so buy the old boxes when you can. |

Hey guys, just wanted to give an update on self-answering my topic question. There is a small difference between the new plastic (in the 12-mini boxed sets) from the older plastic (24-mini boxed sets). Before priming I can notice the miniatures in the new plastic have less flash and moulding discrepancies. Postpriming I can distinguish small things that stand out like belts, cloth lines, and facial indentations are deeper and more refined on the new plastic than the older ones. It's nothing MAJOR but if you're looking for painting better detail the new plastic does have more attentive moulding. |
