Hello all,

I have the starter set of The Hobbit, but i just got the Trolls as a gift (Yay!), but if i want to play with them, i would have to buy the hardbook rules to see their profiles, right?

Also, i've been wondering. Does the hardbook rules contain ALL the profiles + points for the current models in The Hobbit series? When new models are released, how will one get the profiles of those?

Just trying to make sure i'm heading the right direction also, anyone know how many points the good player can roughly get up to using thorins company + radagast? Evil has lots more models in the range, so wondering how that adds up.

The hobbit rulebook has all profiles for the new hobbit stuff from the first movie. If you want profiles for lotr stuff you must by the appropriate army books. Thorin's company + radagast is approximatly 1200 points, but I wouldn't recomend playeing that army against a horde of goblins pluss trolls pluss hunter orcs etc.

Alright so it has all the points of the models from the first movie, so do you mean it has profiles for models that aren't released yet as figures? Like eagles, Azrog, erebor dwarves and such?

Yep, they are all in there too! There are even pics of some of them!
The trolls! I'm hoping to buy mine tomorrow!!!
