Warriors of the Last Alliance Question

I am considering starting LotR SBG and was thinking about what army I would build. I have always liked the elves of Rivendell and decided I would base my army around them. I have found on the Games Workshop website High Elf Warriors and Elf command. What I was wondering is, can the Warriors of the Last Alliance be used in my army even though they are from another era? Sorry if this a very silly question but I am awaiting the Free Peoples book and I hope that will answer many of my questions. If anyone could give me any tips as to what units to have in my army that would be very helpful.

The warriors of the last alliance can be used. They are the same models as the high elf warriors just with different wargear. So the box set comes with elf blade and bow, where as the finecast set comes with spear and shield.

Thanks for your fast reply, it is much appreciated. Is there any Elven Cavalry aside from the Galadhrim Knights or Wood Elf Riders? Basically, are there any Rivendell Cavalry?

You are in luck. High Elf cavalry is coming in february, along with some mounted heroes.

pictures and rules are found in the new hobbit book. Cant link you to either but a google search should find you the pictures.
