So cavalry can have 6 in a warband whereas infantry 12?
so can i have 10 infantry and 1 mounted model? such as
10 galadhrim warriors
1 galadhrim knight with banner?
(As i understand it cavalry take up 2 spaces each wheres infantry 1 each model.)

That's incorrect. All warbands can have 12 members. It's just that infantry boxes come with 10-12 minis and cavalry boxes come with 6.

12 calvary hmmm...intresting.why do cavalry come in 6s? price? well 12 galadhrim knights would cost £45 and thats quite alot to pay in one bit.
