I've seen a few people at my store do this:

Basically you move your charging model, then once you make contact you "roll around" the models base to allow the charger to make contact with other models he normally wouldn't be able to reach because of control zones etc.

So what I'm asking I guess, is can a model keep moving after making contact with an enemy when charging

I'm not sure how an exact reading of the rulebook would play out (don't have them handy at the moment), but we have always allowed this type of movement unless doing so would make the model move farther than it's move rate.

I don't think is possible this sort of moving , because the rulebook states that a model moved in base contact with another model cannot move anymore this turn.

The only way the model have to charge both the enemy model is this:

Yeah that was my reading, a better example of this being used is to get through control zones:

The example is ok, it can be done. The rule only says that you have to contact the first model who's ZOC you enter, you do not need to move into B2B to roll around, just stay 1mm away, roll round and then move into contact with both.

1) You must CHARGE the model whose control zone you entered first.

2) You must stop moving once base contact is made as you have CHARGED

3) you may continue to move when inside the control zone of a model as long as you end the turn in base contact with that model.

So yes you can do that assuming you never made base contact

BUT
If the model at the front which you are using to "wrap around" is already engaged and you wish to ONLY engage that model and NOT the one behind you must watch out for the 2nd model's control zone. Enter it and you must charge the 2nd model as the first model has no control zone.

Comprende?

Yup, there is no rule for having to charge in a straight line.

Yep! Zones of Control, both using them and countering them, is one of my favorite aspects of SBG. A player that can see the ZoCs on the table as well as they see the model bases themselves will have an advantage over a player that does not.
