Yup, i like using him with a handful of budget wraiths, that way you can have him casting black dart with like 4-5 dice per turn and still have enough will to survive everything.

I would never have thought of squeezing all nine into 1,000pts, let alone reach the max model limit, it does look powerful. Anyway I want him on a fell beast and here's the 1,000pt list:

The Undying on fell beast
Durburz
Moria Goblin Shaman
Buhrdur
Shade
Barrow-wight
Wild Warg Chieftain
16 goblins with bows
16 goblinb with shields
17 goblins with spears
1 plain goblin

I also have a 1,500pt version which includes a budget wraith, druzhag and a second wight.
