Hi. I have a quick question about Galadriel and her mirror. If Galadriel dies during the game is the mirror removed from the board or can it still be used by other heroes fighting bravely on?

Yeah, good question, never thought about it (haven't used it yet). I'd say...no, it only works when she's on the board, as an extension of her being.

This is no mention of it being removed when Galadriel dies and no mention of Galadriel having to be on the table for it to be used either. So once placed it can be used whatever happens.

On the other hand, the Mirror counts as an upgrade, so you could argue that when Galadriel dies it has to go with her, just like with any other upgrade.

And the counter to that would be hero's can now upgrade troops, and this upgrade is not lost once the hero dies. I would take it with a grain of salt:

1) the mirror did not rely on Galadriel directly, it was a possession.

2) It's an expensive upgrade that will likely see very limited use in anything but a last ditch attempt at survival. (Who can afford to pull back heros to get their fate back? They are needed where they are.

3) If Galadriel is dead, odds are things are already going south fast for that player, unless your playing a tourney is there really any need to salt the wound further?

It's not a personal object though and cannot be moved. If the scenario objective was to get off table, the mirror wouldn't be removed if Galadriel moves off.

Thanks for the replies. At the very least it's reassuring for a new player like me that I'm not just being dense by not knowing the answer!
