Question About The Dragon

I just used my dragon for the first time and my friend claims that draconic charge can't be used with flying, basicly I had to say before I moved if I was using my flying to move 12" or if I was going to charge, and in that situation I would only move 6".

It sounds really cheesy.

So If I use wings, I can move 12" into a draconic charge? If so that's kickass

Also, I have never played competitively. So We just use the rule book that came with the mines of moria. I didn't know there was a separate rule book.

yeh basically if on your move you move into an opponent then this is considered a charge whether you flew or walked and he will get his special rule..

also yes there is a different set of rules that plays more like warhammer fantasy with groups in companys / units rather than the individual style of sbg

That's why the upgrade costs 50 points. On a realistic note, it would make MORE sense for the dragon to have a bonus when flying, because it's moving much faster than if it were walking.
