Post subject:  sinmple question reguarding fate

Hi, my friend believes VERY strongly that wounds can't go negative. for example, if Thranduril is at one wound and takes two wounds, according to him he only has to pass one fate not two in order for him to stay alive because the other wound doesn't count because his wounds can't go negative.
I've never played this way, but he's recently been arguing for this, can anyone give me a clear answer?
Thanks in advance

What do you mean by 'wounds can't go negeative' ? Never heard that expression before.

If Thranduil has 1 wound left and suffers 2 wounds, he needs to ue Fate points to heal both wounds otherwise he dies. If Fate gives him back 1 wound, he has still suffered 1 wound, so he still dies. they both need to be 'healed'.

It simplifies things a LOT if you just deal with each Wound as it happens. If you get a wound, decide if you're going to use Fate to try to eliminate it and do that before going to the next Wound. If at any point you are at zero with no Fate left you're dead.

LOL you can't blame a guy for trying...

2 wounds inflicted means 2 fate rolls, regardless of current wounds.
