- In the Hobbit rules, since magic has changed a bit, how does Thranduil's "The Circlet of Kings" work now?
Does it do the basic version of each spell now, no longer the "powerful version" that was the only version in the previous edition?

- Gildor's optional rule to upgrade Wood Elves.... yet he is in the Eregion and Rivendell section.. does this allow me to take Wood Elves as his followers?


Nevermind these questions, finished reading the FAQ on GW's website and both are answered.. (:

Yes, he casts the basic versions, but he can channel them as well. Check out the FAQ for the exact wording, but he can cast Aura of Dismay at the beginning of the game and it will stay in effect for the rest of the game. And casts it for free.

His Aura of Dismay ends if he runs out of Will though!
