Post subject:  Backing away in to enemy control zones

Hi peeps....
As in thread title my question is when theres a battle going on and it gets quite tight with multiple battles, if you lose your duel and have enough room to back away your full inch are you allowed to end the backing away within another control zone?
Me and Thermo played today and it came up, although wasnt life or death it woud be good just to clear up.

the rule book states
the loser must back away 1" in a straight line away from the winner. When the loser backs away it can move through enemy control zones but not into base contact.

The word "through" is whats deceiving me as does it mean it can move through only or is it ok to end the backing away within a CZ?

Yep, I was confused with this notion as well.

Detailed information about this particular situation is on page 22, 2nd paragraph (which should have been referenced on page 39 where everyone looks in regards to backing away).

The answer to your first question is Yes: just make sure a small distance separates the models. :)

Just to clarify as well, if you start your move in an enemy control zone, all you can do is charge that enemy, right?

Nope. If you start in an opponent's control zone then if you go any closer to him you have to charge him, but if you stay the same distance away as you move around him then you can charge someone else.
