Does Aragorn, Isildur's heir's banner rule affect himself, he IS a hero of arnor afterall, does he get to fight with 3 attacks and a re-roll? |

I don't think so, his rule is more of he inspires his warriors, so unless he inspires himself then no I don't think the rule applies to him. |

If it doesn't specify that it doesn't affect him, assume it does. The FAQ doesn't say it can't. |

He simply is so great, that he's inspired by his own awesomeness.  To be fair, if anybody deserves it... Or just imagine that it shows his dedication to the cause: something he loses upon becoming king of Gondor, strangely enough - maybe it was a bit disappointing after all. |

Figuring that, he is cheaper than the Strider version, plus he has a bow, banner and 6" Woodland Creature bonuses. Strider has nice options for horse, armor, and Anduril, true. But unless you need an all-mounted Hero army, Isildur's Heir gets my vote. |

Seeing as Amdur benefits from his own banner, Aragorn should as well. |
