I was reading over Hurl in the hobbit digest rulebook. Hurl does not mention what happens if you hurl a mounted warrior. Does hurling a mounted mini provoke a thrown rider check (no pun intended). It should. If I was riding a horse and a troll threw me, I would have a hard time hanging on.

I believe he hurls the whole cavalry model and your horse is dead/flees.

Sure, i would assume the whole model is thrown. At the minimum there should be a thrown rider check as well. I thought there was a prone = thrown from mount rule, but i cant find anything like that.

I heard that LordoftheBrownRing is right. Hurls both and mount flees (unless its a Warg that passes a courage test, but it'd still probably die any way.

there are only 2 monsters that may not be hurled, Mumakil, and Smaug.
As long as you have higher strength than the monster you are attempting to hulr you may hurl them.
The fact remains if you enrage shelob via Druzag you may hurl the balrog at people.

Notice that if it's a monstrous mount the mounted model is knocked prone in the moment it loses the combat and therefore only the mount (if it does not flee) or the rider can be hurled.

Yeah that would be insane......or even an ent or something lol
