I know that if i'm prone i can stand up for half my move. If i win a combat and i'm prone, I stand up instead of striking blows. Here is my question, if i'm prone and subsequentially charged, once my turn rolls around, may i stand up, or am I stuck on the ground until I am no longer in combat?

Standing up is a part of your move and you are not allowed to move if you have been charged. So i'd suggest better win the combat

I was under the same impression. Once changed, a mini can take no move actions. To include standing up.
