So the Easterling Shaman casts Fury. The rules for it say that it "affects all models from the Eastern Kingdoms within range, including heroes." Since it says ALL MODELS, does this mean that even horses, chariots and fell beasts are affected by it? Since it also affects Khamul, who is a Spirit and not a man, and based on the wording, I would say yes.

I don't have the wording in front of me, but what does the fury spell itself say? Does it make mention of it only affecting the race of the caster?

Nope, it says exactly what I quoted. The FAQ specifies that it also affects Khamul, who is a different race from the Shaman.

I don't think so. Consider that a cavalry "model" is both the horse and the rider. I would think the rider would be the one affected.

Well, if they counted as a single model, that would mean that any wound on a cavalry would be fury worthy, like warg riders, but that isn't the case.

Warg Riders get the Fury roll on the Wargs?? That's interesting, because the Mordor one specifically states "Orcs, Morannon Orcs, etc" doesn't it?

No, I was saying that if they did just count as one model, like you said, they would. I was using the fact that wargs don't get orc fury as an example that they count as separate models for the purposes of fury. Since steeds from the Eastern Kingdoms still count as "models from the Eastern Kingdoms", I would say that they get fury rolls. Which would seriously improve Chariots, Kataphrakts and Khamul on fell beast.

I think that "models of the Eastern kingdoms" should be applied to soldiers and heroes only. It's only logical to assume that.
First, it would be far too powerful if even chariots, fell beast and horse may take benefits.
Secondly, outside gaming logic, fury is a state of frenzy, which affects the minds based either by race or nation. A horse isn't able to understand such thing: has no devotion to a country
Thirdly, the only know fury which affects animals is the "Bestial Fury", which has a different name. This points is kinda weak, though.

Those are my 2 cents.

This has come up on the Facebook group a few times. Rules as Written it affects all models, horses, Fell Beasts, spirits etc. I think if it gets FAQ'd by GW they'd say it only affects humans but that's just my opinion.

Somewhat unfortunately, the rules are pretty clear in this case.

Ok, I just wanted to hear what the community thought of it because it came up in a game recently. I wanted to make sure of it one way or another.
