As there are no rules for Uruk-hai Scout drummers, I thought I'd have a go at writing some. The rules are based on a combination of Orc Drummers, Uruk-Hai Captains and Mauhúr. Let me know what you think.

Uruk-hai Scout Drummer (45 points)

While raiding the Westfold, Uruk-hai scouts try to keep ahead of the Riders of Rohan. They use drummers beating a steady rhythm to keep them moving quickly through the settlements of Rohan, killing and burning as they go.

F 4/-
S 5
D 5
A 1
W 1
C 4

M 0
W 0
F 1

Wargear
An Uruk-hai Scout Drummer wears armour and carries heavy drumsticks (hand weapon).

Special Rules
Advance! - See Mordor rulebook or In Sauron's Sinister Service for details. The exception is that the drum applies to Isengard Uruk-hai and Orcs.
Mauhúr's Marauders - For a cost of 5 points an Uruk-hai Scout Drummer may be upgraded to be a Mauhúr's Marauder. See Mauhúr in White Dwarf 366 for details.

Well spotted, I've added the points now (50).

That looks solid enough.
But why the fate point?
Does every musician has a faith point?

(if so.. I'm going to play an instrument :) )

Both the orc drummer and the Black Guard drummer have a point of fate. I guess it makes them slightly more likely to survive.

Just noticed that while the Orc drummer has the same Fight as a captain, the Black Guard Drummer only has the Fight of a normal warrior.

So what do you think for the Uruk-hai Scout drummer:

    Fight 5 - 50 points or
    Fight 4 - 45 points

Fight 4 i think, i would go with strength 4 also. I allways imagined the drummer was a trooper, not a near captain, so his stats would be nearer that of a warrior, or is the orc drummer stronger aswell?

The Orc Drummer has the same strength as an Orc Captain.

It's a good point though about making the Scout Drummer Strength 4. I've always wondered why the Orc Drummer was a hero when it should be more like a banner upgrade to a normal warrior than a hero.

I'd say f4, fighting with a drum around your neck is somewhat harder.

Updated the profile to only be Fight 4, but kept the Strength at 5. You'd need to be pretty strong to run around with a drum.

As an aside, the first Reinforcements allows Uruk-hai to take a hornblower, but there is no model. So I guess another way to use the model would be to count it as a hornblower.
