I hope thecoolestguy stays on the forums, and I hope we don't chase him away. This hobby isn't exactly mainstream and every person on here is an important part of our small-knit group.

That being said, Left-coast arrogance is something this forum can do without. If he can't be more polite then maybe this supposedly "cool guy" should stick to making his "major motion pictures", which probably means filming porn or waiting tables.

It's up to you coolguy, be cool, or forget about anyone responding to you with anything but contempt. I hope you choose the former.[/i]

Yes almost as soon as I posted it, I regretted it, I apologize, that was a very harsh statement. I completely agree with your second paragraph as well, especially about the West Coast arrogance.

@Maermaetor (Indeed it´s hard to spell, but it isn´t a rocket-science) The only thing that I don´t understand is that, why even bother to explain or defend yourself when clearly he doesn´t get the heck of what he´s talking about...

On behalf of all west coasters I apologize for the arrogant posts of those who think that geography has something to do with arrogance.

Because its fun to see the troll eat the cookie. And if his stomach can't digest the cookie then he will not ask for another.

Ha ha, he lives in California, stereotypically (and he apparently follows the stereotype) speaking, those guys think they're the center of the world, and that the city of Los Angelos is God's greatest gift to man. Its not as much of a west coast thing as it is a California thing, and definitely not Canada! Lets not fight each other now, I'm sorry if I offended you. :)

Edit: I keep making ignorant and harsh statement after ignorant and harsh statement, and I sincerely apologize. All Californians are of course not egotistic and arrogant, and I understand that I myself have given off a bad impression of the southern United States as well. I shouldn't be making such cruel statements and then asking people not to argue with me, either, and again, I apologize. I'm going to just stop posting in this topic, as I think the original issue of multiple Spider Queens in an army was resolved a long time ago, coolestguy doesn't seem to bother with this topic any more, and I've got nothing constructive to add to what Maermathor said. Again, I'm sorry for my own arrogance, specifically to coolest guy and whafrog, and I hope we're cool now 8)

I may be in Canada now, but I was born in California :) I've lived in lots of places in the US and Canada and elsewhere, and the thing I've noticed is jerks are jerks no matter where they're from. Our ape-inheritance just automatically latches on to the tribal reason.

Anyway, I'm glad the SQ is THE SQ. I used to think she was too cheap, but there are plenty of ways to counter her, so if you only have to deal with one it's still competitive.

To anyone from Cali, but especially to Whafrog, I'm sorry.

Whafrog you're one of the best contributors to these forums, sorry if I offended you in any way.
In my life I have had to deal with a lot of SoCal'ers and honestly disliked more than half of those I've met (I work in the film industry and used to date a girl that grew up there as well). The overriding attitude of those I've known is that they are more intelligent than all the "rednecks" from other parts of the country.
That being said I don't think everyone who lives there is a stereotype from The Hills, or some other pretentious, materialist junk.
All people from Ohio aren't perfect either-our state symbol, Buckeyes, are useless nuts...

This is what trolling posts do though, it makes the entire conversation degenerate into insults. Since this topic is essentially dead, I ask, "When will the By the Book Project make it's triumphant return?!" :yay: :D

Hey, no harm done. I guess for most people, the best place in the world is wherever they are or are from. :) I remember before I moved to the Twin Cities in Minnesota (lovely place, BTW), going down for the job interview I start yakking with the cab driver.

"Oh, you have to live in Edina," he says. "Best people in the world."
"Hmm, but St. Paul is where I'll be working if I get the job, what about that?"
He turns up his nose. "Oh, all those people are so stuck up. Living in the capital, they think they're soooo special."

I bit my tongue. :)

Anyway, thanks for the compliment, and I have no idea about By the Book, but it's always in the back of my mind. Gotta pester Gothmog and MuslimRohirrim and others who contributed to get on it too.

Meh, you defended yourself and I see nothing wrong with that. 8) If coolest guy is going to insult people and then not even be prepared to have the tables turned, I'm not sure we want him on this site anyway IMHO.

I'm glad everybody sorted themselves out.

Coolestguy joined OR on Wed Aug 4th and last visited the site on Fri 6th August so at present he might not have seen all the posts after this date. I know I don't need to remind you folks that we are a happy family here and we welcome people from all walks of life and cultures (even Goblins).

If one member feels they have been insulted by another they should raise this matter with staff and not potentially engage in back-seat moderation.
I know this wasn't anyone's intention :)

Things can quickly spiral out of control if people reply in a negative way.
