Fall of the Necromancer does take precedence but it was released ages before LOME.

Fall of the Necromancer, A Shadow in the East, Scouring of the Shire, the Battle of Pelennor Fields, the Siege of Gondor, Shadow & Flame were all released before LOME but with the exceptions of FOTN, ASITE & SOTS, they have all been updated.
