WoMT should be Fight 4, And Numenoreans Fight and Strength 4. (irrelevant point: High Elves should be Strength 4)

Agreed with Gothmog Warriors of Numenor should be S4 and they should also have heavy armor. Because there is a full breastplate under that clothy-leathery-tunic-thing.

I second the motion for high elves having strength of 4, would gladly pay an extra point for that!

My bad about F and A, but MT still has CG, GotFC and Osgiliath veterans (who are underpriced), they also have rangers.

Who is overpriced?

WoMT are not, add two defence for two points (from basic profile) adn you have a WoMT.

I'm not sure why I said "Because they are overpriced", but the point still stands. Compare them to Elves, Dwarves, many of the Fiefdom warriors, some of the Harad warriors and maybe a few I can't think of, and you will see that they are inferior for comparable costs. Using your "basic profile" a wood elf, who costs the same as a WoMT, should cost 9 pts (+2 for the fight, +2 for the courage).

Sorry to keep hijacking this, but I want to get my point across that the simple +1 to broken tests does not in any way make them overpowered, in fact it evens them up a little.

I agree with you on the +1 to the Break Test. I would like to give them a higher fight or strength, but I have been given grief over it. Seems some rather be die-hard "by-the-rule" till they die....I was able to eek out the +1 to Break Test.

Its sad actually because I am more for the J.R.R. Tolkien rather than the movie. Not bashing the movie, Mr. Jackson did a wonderful job with what he had.

Did it have any affect on the game? More importantly, did you win?

Played 3 games with the +1 Break Test.

In the first 2 games, I won without having to test for Break. The 3rd game was a close call and I lost, due to bad rolls, and I still did not have to roll for a Break Test. Mainly because I was basically wiped out before I could even get to my turn for a Break Test to be done (we called it after my friends turn; I only had 6 WoMT left and no leader).

Ah. I understand, and being also for Tolkien more than for the movie, I sympathize. Though I do have difficulty with seeing how the break test is particularly crucial- sometimes it can be a great boon. At other times you get games like those. Such is life. :)
