Option 3
warband 1 is illegal I think
too many in a warband because of the banner-bearers from the king's champ
you could always just move a few over to WB 3

IMO i think option 1 is best
simply because of 10 elites with 2 banners and a tough nut Durin supported by a fat guy and his freinds

Firstly, I hadn't noticed the mistake that Sid noticed, Sid is right, you can't have 15 models in a warband, only 13 (inc. hero)

40pts buys you Beregond and 3 Citadel Guards I think, but i'ts not overly useful, 30pts could get you a hobbit Hero with Cloak, again I think, purely for the Mt pts, but I stilll don't recommend.

Noticed that mistake too, but corrected it in the spare points, but, you think 3 is the best?

If I skip that unarmored warrior I can get Balin instead of a king.

That means option 3 with Balin, I'll post a better worked out list within a few hours, oh, and Sid, why don't you join one of the RPG threads, it seems to me you're an exellent person for them.
