There seem to be quite a lot of people on the internet saying that Lurtz is underpowered and needs a really big rule to put him up to Ugluk's level. i don't really go with this, as Lurtz was OK in the RotK rulebook. Here is my profile for Lurtz: Lurtz: F......S.....D.....A.....W.....C....M/W/F Points Value: 60 ........5/3+..5....5(6)...2......2.....4.....3/1/1 Wargear Lurtz is equipped with a sword (hand weapon), armour, shield and an Orc bow Special Rule Shieldmaster As captain of Saruman's Scout Uruk-hai, Lurtz has had extensive training in use of both a bow and a shield. To represent this, Lurtz may wield a bow, but also gain the defence bonus from his shield, although he may only benefit from the defence bonus from his shield if he does not shoot his bow in the same phase. Note that if your opponent has priority/called a heroic shoot action, you must tell them opponent whether or not Lurtz will shoot when it is his turn |

I really like the idea!! (I think you meant shoot in the same turn - not phase) I also suggest a small mod. Shieldmaster As captain of Saruman's Scout Uruk-hai, Lurtz has had extensive training in use of both a bow and a shield. To represent this, Lurtz may wield a bow, and if he doesn't shoot this turn then he may choose only one of the following - gain the defence bonus from his shield - Use his shield as a Throwing Weapon |

Don't use the shield as a throwing weapon. He's great as tiron proposed , he doesn't need any more really. BTW , you're Gregorsham on TLA right? |
