I know that Forlong has +1 might and strength, but is he better than a dol Amroth captain if imrahil is within 12" and both are on foot?
I'm stuck. Please help.

It depends. Are you including Axemen of Lossarnach? If so, I can't imagine anyone else leading a warband of them.

No. No axemen. Just Dol Amroth and Blackroot Vale. But although I do care about theme, I want this discussion to just be about effectiveness and not theme.

I'd say the extra Might and Strength is worth it the loss of the banner effect. Gives you more flexibility in where you send him.

Ah yes. Thanks. I didn't notice the extra wound. I think Forlong is definately batter than a captain now.
