In a big army harad+mordor 750 pts for example, is the Haradrim Hornblower worth of getting.
In small armies i detest horns but in large number they may be effect. 1 point in 2d6 is not something special but considering 1 point per model in a whole army, hmmm......
Instead of him, a mightful banner can be used but I am not sure for what is better so i d like your experienced opinion :)

Take a horn. You have now men with courage of Dwarves! That is nice investment for an army. Just hide him behind your lines and you should be fine.

Definitely take a war horn. I'd always take one whenever I can, extra courage. And one point extra can save your hide - I'd believe so anyway.

This is true, just do the math. You go from a 59% chance to pass each courage test to a 73%!!!! That's huge. Especially if you start adding heroes with their stand fast to the mix. A Harad Captain will pass 84% of his courage tests with a horn on the field (as opposed to 73% without)

If you use Suladan and raise his courage to 6 the horn has even more value considering his 12" stand fast 8)

Yes he is worth it. Equally, a banner would be worth the cost.
