| Post subject: | Radagast with sleigh worth it? |
Just a quick question/tactical discussion on Radagast's new mount. I've just brought the model because I like it but not sure how it plays in the game. It looks really interesting it stats are all over the place low strength low defense but high wounds ( which sort of makes up for the defense issue) and attack values. With Radagast taking it to fight 5 and strength 4 and the sleigh taking him to 7 attacks on the charge (with Sebastian) it seems like he'd be one of the best models in the game, a great fighter and support caster who is able to use his spells to further augment his fighting abilities (immobilise, renew and aura of dismay come to mind) but at his cost is he just two much to be viable, what you might call the sauron effect? P.S Sebastian is easily the best upgrade ever +1 attack on a powerful named hero for the price of one goblin. |

Unfortunately, Radagast's sleigh makes him one of the best combat models in the game, which is stupid. It's pulled by rabbits.... and yet he could take on a swarm of low-points models and rip them apart. He's definitely worth the points, and Sebastian is the worth the Xpoints needed. This is one of my most hated models and rules in the new edition... |
