With hat might be nice, but looking at the hat - maybe it should be pulled over the head a bit more?
Hm i guess i ll go for the none -hat version.

I'm guessing the hat is just stuck on temporarily. I say with hat. It will look really good once done properly.

I guess that might be right -once he is put on good - it might be lots better. The sculpture of the hat is already well done. So ye i guess u r right ukfb

I would'nt put the hat on. When he rides the horse, it would fly of.
And furthermore, is that Gandalf the White? He doesn't have a pointy hat, at least not in the movies.

If he's Gandalf the Grey, I'd include the hat; it's one of his distinguishing features.

Indeed, I'd keep the hat. And besides just because he's on his horse doesn't mean he won't wear his hat, he wore it whilst riding to Gondor to research the One Ring and whilst riding to Isengard to talk to Saruman about the Ring (in the first film) so why not :)

Nice job with the conversion, simple but effective (a lengthened beard would finish it off nicely).

If you drill out the hat so that it fits the head it won't matter if you change your mind. I like the hat. :twisted:
