Thanks all. Here is another update. One or two of the pics are bad I think.

Firstly, the base colours on the Angamr goblins. The 2nd pic is a closer shot of 3 of them, one archer, one swordman and a spearman:

Here's Morgoth's Ring a la One Ring to rule them all:

Now lets get all ethereal with my basecoated ghosts and the Barrow-wights:

Then the basecoat of the big 'un (my newest cave troll), which is actaully smaller than some of the werewolves, but much uglier of course, he's Burdhur's 2nd henchman:

And finally, my preciouses (werewolves) recieve a base coat. Well 6 of them do, the other 2 will retain their black coat so I haven taken another photo of them yet. Doesn't really seem like there's a point to it:

I am happy to announce that I have completed the werewolves and friends, you will find some pictures below (I did take some pics of earlier stages but since they're complete I might as well jump straight to the chase. Thanks all. Before I began proper I would just like to quote some Wuthering Heights: my tray is "swarming with ghosts and goblins" (Lockwood):

My WIP resumes, firstly, here is the Mordor Troll I'm entering into the painting competition:

Here, is the Witch-king of Angmar, one of my first ever models (my collection used to only be WK on foot, Gothmog on warg, Gorbag, Mordor Troll, 12 Orcs and 15 Goblins) I've decided that the Witch-king needs a little modernisation, so I've replaced his flail with his flaming sword from the fellbeast set. This is him prior conversion:

And finally, a box of orcs and a box of WoLA (Can anyone guess what those are going to end up being):

I've also mail-ordered a few metal models to be delivered to GW Bolton, which should arrive by this Friday.

Snce all these models are completed, rather tahn posting in the traditional order of posting everything I did in the order that I did it in, I will post by one at a time ie, Mordor Troll, then the Witch-king, then Spectres and then Shade. By the way, I forgot to take some oft the pics so there may be gaps. So first up is the Mordor Troll:

Here is him prior to painting:

Here he is after the undercoating and the 1st layer of the armour:

Next is the 1st layer of skin:

Now there's a big jump to him nearly finished (I think):

Now he's had a wash of devlan mud, and his base is basecoated:

The last 4 pics atre the finnished troll from 4 different angles:

Some of these pics will also appear in the painting challenge section since he is my entry. :-D
