Thank you guys!  So far he just has a base coat of Astronomican Grey for his fur as I was trying to see what color palette I wanted to use for him. Think I'll keep going in that direction for now. |

In between layers of paint on my Terror of Arnor model, I revamped my old "Skully" I made from the BGIME conversion sprue a while back and turned him into a captain for my Angmar orcs. Complete with a semi-fresh disembodied hobbit head crowning his helmet. http://botwt.wordpress.com/2011/09/02/angmar-orc-captain/

When I first looked at Gothmog, I thought it was a picture from the movie - the skin is awesome! Again, on the orc captain, the face is just amazing! As for Gulavahr, I know the eye is done with paint, but it looks like you inserted a gem or a plastic bead of some kind. I'm quite eager to see what the finished model looks like! |
