I don't know how it's possible I skip more than an entire year posting anything here. That outpost got some black primer about a week ago. THAT'S WHAT I CALL PROGRESS.

Anyways, been working on some Goblin Town stuff etc. I'll try to do more of a WIP type of thing, but looking at what happened last time I said that, I'm not promising anything.

Here is a little Bilbo I finished today, will try to post a little progress in Ori. (I'm working on him next.) I'm trying to paint them to tabletop standard, as I'm easily spooked by a large amount of miniatures, and EfGT is one of those. ;)

A sudden woodenwalkwaybuildingurge appeared tonight, so I got productive after painting the EfGT ones for a bit. ;)

I never realised how much fun it is to build these. More on the way!

Looking good, I'd just make them a bit more "messy". You know, I don't think goblins are great architects, so you should consider making the planks a lot more chaotic? :)

Here's my approach to that, if you'd like to have a look: http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/ ... 6kuvhr.jpg

@ Rognarr: Yep, I realised they should look messier about halfway through, that's why I added some loose planks to some. Might work on making them even messier later on, but for now I'm quite happy with the result. :)

And I finally decided what to do with the outpost from a year back, quick 10 min paintjob to fit in with the rest. ;)

The outpost looks quite nice!
And seeing the goblin town pieces now arranged with the goblin town pieces leaves a nice impression too.. doesnt look too "clean" after all ;)

Thanks, but you're still right though. It IS too clean for goblins, but this way I can use it for other things too.;)

Absolutely brilliant, man. There is nothing quite like a beautiful piece of scenery to play on.

Looks good 8) The walkways will look good as dwarf mine scaffold too.
You can always mix in some more goblin style too.
I have been looking for a cost effective way to add bones and skulls.
This may be it http://www.partycity.com/product/skull+ ... Set=170580

That's an interesting idea. But aren't those skulls too big?

May be not too big but may be too stylised :?

I put one on a bamboo skewer. A tooth pick might be better. They might make good carvings or decorations.
