I'm starting to feel overwhealmed by the number of figures i have to paint!

My wife got me Eowyn mounted (it's her favourite character of course) and Arwen mounted so that helped me decide to do some of my Rohan next. (Elves can wait)

I have 12 Riders of Rohan 36 warriors on foot as well as the above mentioned Eowyn mounted and on foot, Theoden on Foot, Gamling on Foot and Eomer foot and mounted. As those numbers scare the pants off of me let alone all the the others i have, i decided to just pick a small 300 point force to make a dent in the numbers.

So my new plan is to pick a faction, do either 300 points or a warband (if i already have at least 300 points painted of that force). Then pick the next one move on.

So now I'm painting:
Warband 1
Eowyn mounted
6 Riders of Rohan, 2 with throwing spears

warband 2
Theoden on foot
12 warriors of Rohan, 4 with bows, 4 with throwing spears.

Total 300 points

The second warband will hopefully fit in for the next painting challenge!

Ahhh wish me luck. I'll post some pics on the couple of models I've done so far this weekend.

Nice figures! Just a tip but do you water down your paint before you start. It will greatly help in giving a smooth coat.
