Looking good. Your finishing is very good I love the attention to detail on Frodo's buttons and how neat the edge of the base looks.

Any suggestions as to what to paint next week? I'm having a hard time deciding. Also, expect to see some Uruk Hai madness over the coming weeks as I am expanding my current force. Ordered something off ebay that's quite exciting. Wait and see...

Liking both of these! Looking forward to seeing the rest.

What about Gandalf next, to give yourself a break from Hobbits?

Now that's a plan!

In my last post I said to expect something Isengardish and it has arrived!

9 metal Uruk-Hai crossbowmen. Picked them up for just over £25 on EBay. Very Happy!

I was thinking of buying/trading Vrasku to lead them. Is that a good idea?

Yes, Vrasku is a good choice to lead crossbowmen. He can shoot twice in a turn, and that's unique to him amongst Evil forces (as far as I remember).

This weekend I got about halfway through painting Gandalf and am expecting to continue soon. Here he is in his current state.
