As I received Escape From Goblin Town for Christmas, I thought I'd make a start and get my first batch of Goblins out of the way, 18 Goblins and the Tiny Captain. I chose not to opt for the colours shown in the film or by Games Workshop, but instead went for a pale green. The second batch will have a different skin tone to provide variety.

Well well, can't say I was expecting that. But boy does the paint scheme look good!

Very original and inspiring Chris. I may have to get another box of Goblins and paint them that when then add them to my Moria army.

Cheers Knighty :) I definitely need to get some more of these Goblins when I've finished Escape From Goblin Town, they're really nice to paint :)

Indeed, these are very nice. The alternate scheme came out very well. They're not bright green, but they're also not that sickly pale skin tone that GW has them. I really like this in-between colour. 8) :yay:

Thought I'd comment and say how nice they look in green. Very slimy. and a nice dark scheme for consistency. Well done. :yay:

I think when I buy my goblins (in a while) I will try to use this colour scheme. I love the fact that the captain is so small.

My first 12 Osgiliath Veterans, converted from normal Warriors of Minas Tirith. I used a hobby knife to hack away parts of the armour, and then Green Stuff was used for the cloth and cloaks. One Veteran has an Easterling Sword and another has a Haradrim Spear. I have another 24 Veterans that need to be converted.

Very nice work Chris! I really like the variation in each model, you've done a great job at making each one unique. They all look sufficiently battered and bedraggled and begrudging, just as veterans should be!

Funnily enough my favourite for each section is the second from the left :P I also quite like the very last archer.

I know these will look great painted, get 'em done asap!
