Here is a picture of what I've done to the Witch-king on foot. Also, as a money-saver, I converted this mounted Witch-king from a metal morgul knight horse and a plastic witch-king rider from the fell beast box set:

And here he is fully painted:

Thanks for all prior comments. :-D

Agreed! The WK from the FB set looks great on a horse and becomes very unique in the process. Awesome!

Thanks for the comments guys, really appreciate it :)

Hilbert, originally the mounted WK's sword was meant to be bloody but it came out wrong. Garmenhord, I do like your conversion too, and to all, it does help having a plastic fell beast to make those conversions possible. Beowulf03809, it's only unique if noone copies me.

You'll get a couple copy. Heck...I may be one of them if I ever snag a spare WK/FB model. :P But in the scheme of the gaming universe it's not likely most of the people you game with will actually see one in person themselves and so you will have a unique model on the table.

Although the pictures are not good, the whole theme of your army is great. I also did a similar conversion with the WK. Good job!

Here is the WIP of my Shade. There are 6, I think, layers not including the undercoat but I only have pics of a few:

For anyone who is actually interested, the colours were; Necron Abyss, Hormagaunt Purple, Shadow Grey, Mordian Blue, Enchanted Blue, Astronomican Grey. Plus red eyes.
