There is some fantastic sculpts here! How long does a single, on foot model normally take? Can't wait to see more stuff from you. :D

Great stuff. As a fellow self taught sculptor I can appreciate the learning curve. What I am most impressed with is your ability to do it all from FIMO, which I do not get on with at all. ProCreate is my favourite putty. I'm looking forward to getting back to sculpting next week. Chainmail is all about rows. Pull down to the left, then down to the right etc.

Keep up the good work.

Hi!

After I long time of no painting and sculpting, a little proof of life from me:

First Conversion: Burning Ringwraith

Green of the Wraith

... finished paintjob, without basing

Next Prject was an conversion of the Witchking of Angmar. As I like the mounted version with flamming sword, I also want one on foot. I found an damaged Mini in my Bits-Box and so I started to replace the weapons.

Green:

Finished Version:

Someone had told me, the the colours of the fire are in wrong order, but it's okay for me and looks better than in original order.

The next Mini is based on the Pc-Game War in the North. Sideshow Weta has released an Mini witch is the Inspration for my conversion. I've used parts of different Minis. The body is from the caveroll, the head from the mordor siege-troll.

But now the pictures:

The final result:

Here's a link for the original mini I used for insparation:

Last but not least: My first mini for the new Hobbit-Skirmish: Radagast the Brown:

The mini is based on the Radagast from Heroclix and sculpted with FIMO:

On the same day, I've done the paintjob.

All great work Thomas. I think my favourite is the troll. I'm glad you recognize the fact you have the fire colouring back to front because I would have mentioned that, but if you prefer it that way then that is all that matters. The details on Radagast are well done and the only critisism I can give you is to look at your proportions. For me the legs are a little short in relation to the torso, and once you get that nailed down your work will be even more impressive that it is already. Thanks for sharing :)

You're a really talented sculptor! My favourite conversion is the troll, but the other ones look fantastic as well!

Wonderful conversions and painting. The Nazgul is fabulous though I agree with UKFB that the troll is something special.

I'm jealous of your sculpting talent. It's great to see them "in the green" as well as painted!

Excellent work

I like the Troll 8)

PS: Es würde allerdings besser passen wenn er sich den Zwerg an den Füßen gegriffen hätte, so dass er hilflos kopfüber baumelt. Vielleicht kannst du ihn ja noch drehen.

Lovely work and I particularly like Radagast (I have a soft spot for old Sylvestor)
