The work looks awesome.

I am not sure I would have patience to keep making bricks to put together, I would want hundreds at a time made so I could just keep building.

I like to do that too.But even hundreds get used up fast. 8)

I added the detail parts to the crypt. I added the same decorative elements I used for the Seeing seat to the roof. I added the detail to the buttress and attached the stair rail.

The buttress and the large wall support the arch over the stair so that will be next.
Snow day tomorrow so I may can make some headway.

Awesome. Amon Hen is something I've wanted to build for some time but i've never found anything to build the actual seat from.

Fantastic Charlie. I never realised how throwing a staircase together at a different angle would make it look so damn effective.
Never mind the jealousy for your work, those shelves hold many an interesting item.

I have to wait for the glue to dry before I start attaching the columns to the wall.

The decorative elements for the walls will need to be filed into final shape.

The walls shaping up.

will need more fitting

I hesitate to comment sometimes as I'll end up sounding like a broken record but wonderful work.

Thank, I know how you feel. I feel the same way with so many of the incredible painting WIP's

Today's progress.

I need to cast a few more cracked floor tiles to get the appearance I want.
I will have to find some one with the fallen head model for trade next.

Image

I added detail to the rear of the buttress. I am not sure how much will show.

If I were not enjoying this creative terrain thread so much I might have the energy to be thoroughly jealous of your design talents, patience and thoroughness, plus inevitable envy of anyone with the space to work in unhindered. There are elements of this latest part that remind me of Dubrovnik, which was also part of the inspiration for the design style used in Minas Tirith.

Thanks
Dubrovnik reminds me of Dale as well. I have cast a few clay tile roofs. I may give that a go soon.

I'm sure Dubrovnik was also the inspiration for Kings Landing in Game of Thrones.

Looks superb! The walls appear quite a lot taller than in my version. Have you planned any details to the back side of the walls, for the parts that are above ground level anyway?

Thanks
Yes, I have plans for the back. I will use it for role play more often than WG scenarios.
I am not sure it is taller than yours because the ground work is not on the base yet. 11 and 3/4 inches or 29 cm tall including the base. I made it so that it would fit on a shelf.

Lots of inspiration in the Game of Thrones too.

The glue needs to dry before I assemble the last wall.

Then it is taller - mine is only 20.4 cm from the ground to the top of the walls; the stairs ascend 15.5cm up. In any case, yours looks way more impressive and commanding, and I'm looking forward to seeing it surrounded with ground work. I've just glued the wall sections of my stairs together - I may be able to do some work with the board layout tomorrow, but will otherwise have a busy weekend with other duties.

This really is first class Charlie, but then again you have this niche sorted to a level others can only hope to aspire to.
