Blue! love it. More cold and callous. A slightly darker blue may be even more sinister if you are going away from the Fantasy look. |

Well, I don't want fantasy minis, because I'll play with them to LOTR o The Hobbit. I have painted a little more, and now I have three near finished...  I must paint some things yet, like to paint the metals with shadows, the bases and the freehands in the shields... Photos from each Uruk in my blog. |

They look awesome. I like the sculpts, remind me of Reaper Black Orcs a little but thinner. The blue is fantastic, always fun to work in Skeletor skin tones, I like blue on orcs myself (though through the years I have found many Tolkien fans are not fans of blue orcs). Great job. |

Thanks Sithious, the skin is blue only because my older Mordor's uruk-hais are blue too. Well, I have painted a little more in more minis, here you have 4 more:  More photos in the blog. |

At last I have finished another one company, this time the Mordor's Uruk-hai from Grenadier... I love the blue skin on these orcs and they look wonderful all grouped up like this. I think I'm going to copy this for my Gundabad Orcs to help differentiate them. |

are you getting your Grenadier from Mirliton Fantasy? They have a few models I am interested in from the old Grenadier line. |

Yes Sithious, I get them in Ebay, but I think they are the same of Mirliton Fantasy. This week I think I'll get at home 5 new models with spears.... |

Wow...great bases ! I saw already so many goblins from Hobbit starter with different nicely done bases , but yours are simply one of the bests. Will keep these in mind as inspiration, as I still have same little creatures waiting for assembly and painting in my collection. |

Here again. This time with a new project... Umbar's Corsairs...  The bases are not finished yet, and the minis are from GW, Foundry, Miniaturas del Castillo or Black Scorpion, a mixed company. I hope you like this new work... for the moment. |

They all look excellent together, well sourced. I think once they have your usual high standard of painting then they will look even more in harmony with each other. Hard to tell on the photo but the metal two axed figure 4 from he right, is it female ? |
