Yes Oldman Willow, I remember seeing that site long ago. It is pure awesomeness! I didn't know it was all made by the same person, the topic creator.

@ Sacrilege: you're right, there's no real hard and fast rules on thread-o-mancy, but its generally annoying when it happens. If you were around a few months ago, then reviving threads meant that gaarew would most likely deal you the 'thread necromancer' card, which basically meant that it was sort of a waste of time to put another comment on the thread when it hadn't been discussed for a long time.

Fortunately you haven't made the mistake of starting a new thread for feedback on an article when there was already one there.

I've seen that thread necromancy card. And you know what my response to that would be; "Deputy wannabe moderator" card. All I'm saying is that maybe we should leave the policing to the moderators that are appointed, because obviously you and I have different views on the subject. And if it is that annoying to people, admins should have updated rules then and start locking inactive posts.

To me thread necromancy is reviving a thread that is already resolved, or commenting on a wip thread were the author is no longer active, or is using a different thread. This thread is sorta a grey area, because it is an 'article' in the forum. So normally you could post in the article comment thread, were it doesn't matter if the article is old or not as that forum is just for that; here it is different. I would say that it was fine to post, even if it was technically necromancy, as this is practically an 'article', and its a pretty amazing project. :)
