Wow amazing armies can't help but feel jealous and impressed at the same time. In particular your Théoden, army of the dead, Nazgul and Bombur really stand out, great work

And another update.
I painted my citadel guards. It really took ages to paint them up. But I like the result. The yellow lets them really stand out on the battlefield:

And I finished some more Gondor units, Faramir on horse. (Just Faramir, I have more painted horses then I will ever need

And the last plastics are repaired/varnished. Only a few metal models from the past remain. So from now on I can focus on the present.

The Haradrim, I will take pictures from the Mumak as soon as I manage to varnish him. But I need to take him home from my studio and it is so unpractical. It may take a while

As I was looking through the Gondor guys and got to the crew I thought "the fish was this big" don't know why, it just came to mind. Then the next pic is Gollum eating a fish. Sweet laughter.

You have done a lot of traditional schemes very well. You have a very strong group to build off of if this is your paving the way to the present. enjoy.

Nicely painted minis. I prefer the Axemen from Miniaturas Del Castillo over the GW versions. (I cannot find images online

What happened to those guys? I remember their Axemen, Dwarves and Elves were all great.

Thanks all.
This month I finished my entry for the painting challenge. You can find more pictures there. It was my first painted finecast miniature. The resin was good with only two noteworthy bubbles:

Gulavhar: the terror of Angmar. Another finecast mini. The qualitiy with this one was terrible. I couldn't figure out where his mouth began, or even if had teeth at all. But I bought him at halve price so I can't complain.

And I painted my Knight of the white tower. A friend gave it to me, it was a miscast but unwillingly to spend 30euros on another Gondor command set I gladly accepted it

I finished another finecast miniature. This time I had no problems with the cast.

I field them only with spears so I made some portable spears. And it worked out quiet well:

And also some Knights of Minas Tirith. I bought halve of them second handed and their lances where not included. I tried repairing it. It didn't work out so well but they are at least tabletop ready.

And my gondor cavalry in full glory:

Currently I'm working on my Fiefdom force. Still a bunch of figures standing on the painting table. Men-at-arms of Dol Amroth and two citadel guard in progress:

Not only Fiefdom warriors here but also some Osgiliath veterans:
