Look how slimy they are.

The top of the right orc's bow was sculpted because of a miscast.

More orc archers, these were awesome to paint.

I love this guy so much. He's going to drop a rock on Frodo.

My house rule is that only 1 can ride in the beast's howdah and I subtracted the points off the beast (as it included 9 orcs before)

Anyone can ride the beast.

I want to decorate its base with gore!

The spear guy is the only guy who is glued onto the beast and cannot be killed. He is just there for display.

Nice work - the tentacles look great, they look wet and slimy as well they should.

Go on drop the rock on Frodo brilliant!!

I can see the temptation of basing up the orcs for a bit of variation but that kind of puts a dent in the whole '9 archers count as one' feature of the bow limit rule, which IMO is the best reason for fielding it. Great work on the model itself.

lol now if the lone orc is killed on the first turn, then the beast will just stampede around killing your own guys.

Thing is, I never got the White Dwarf with the Great Beasts rules.... so I'm pretty much just working off of house rules, haha. I had no idea the pike guy could be killed.

Good to see one safely assembled and painted GBoG. It would be nice to have 4 to pull Grond around (minus the howdahs). Orcses looking very cool too.

I'm working on this very thing, only I have one GBoG as is and two for pulling Grond. Gives me a set of 20 Orcs for normal basing.

Hurry up and finish a w.i.p of Grond. I wana see that! Oh great beast btw!

This is not my thread, but I will post in my W.I.P. when I get something worthy of posting. Right now its been assembly and gap filling. Planning on doing a Winter entry as well. But its on the priority list.
