When Theoden King calls for every man in Rohan to pick up arms and defend the homeland, the Rohan Milita is first to answer. Not regular soldiers like the Rohirrim, these warriors are farmers, horse breeders or shopkeepers. But when the King summons these men answer. Using whatever weapons and armor that they can find the men of Rohan rush to their Kings side. Whatever they lack in formal trainning, the Rohan Militia makes up for in courage, loyalty and an undying love of their homeland.
















These are BTD Vikings that had their shields replaced by Rohan shields.
I was struck by the scene in the movie where the King orders every able bodied man and bot to defend Helms Deep. I thought that since quite a bit of Rohan was on the frontier, so to speak, that the villagers must have had a militia to fend off Orc attacks. Thus the idea of Rohn Militia was born.

I really like the idea of having some sort of militia. Looking forward to seeing them based.
